Dr. Md. Al-Amin Sarkar graduated with a degree in dentistry from the Rangpur Dental College under the University of Rajshahi. He continued his postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics and earned a fellowship from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons which is FCPS. During this time, he got 4-year training from Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujib Medical University in Prosthodontics under the faculty of Dentistry. Later he joined Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).

Now He serves in the Prosthodontics Department of Dhaka Dental College Hospital as Incharge and Consultant of the Implant Center. He also serves in The Dental Lounge as a consultant in the evening time Saturday to Wednesday from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. As a Prosthodontist, his area of interest is Dental Implant, Dental Crown, Dental Bridge, Denture, indirect restoration, and maxillofacial prosthesis.He is trained in Maxillofacial Prosthesis in University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. He also does Root Canal Treatment (RCT) and got higher training in Root Canal Treatment and Direct Restoration.
